The world can be saved... However, it's not without sacrifice.

The world of Sylvarant has been plagued by mana exploitation and calamity by the return of the Desians – an evil group who were supposedly sealed off by the hero, Mithos, 4,000 years ago. Colette, the daughter of an angel, receives an oracle and sets out on a journey for the rebirth of the world – while being accompanied by her childhood friend, Lloyd.

If she is reincarnated as an angel, this world will then be saved... Believing this, Lloyd and his friends take on numerous challenges. However, they soon discover that saving Sylvarant meant the decline of the inverse world of Tethe'alla, which is inextricably linked to it. For one to prosper, the other must be sacrificed. Is there no way to escape this destiny…?

Lloyd must face his fears and his feelings for Colette, even as she gradually loses her humanity with every step she takes toward her angelic destiny…
